Questions & Answers
What is the jewellery made from?
Each piece has a 925 sterling silver base finished with 18K gold plating. Plating thickness, stone type and measurements are listed under Details because they can vary between designs.
Will the gold plating fade?
All gold plating can gradually wear or fade over time. How quickly this happens depends on how often the piece is worn, friction, moisture, skin chemistry and exposure to cosmetics or cleaning products. This natural wear is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Can I wear the jewellery in water?
We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping. Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotion, sunscreen and cleaning products. If the piece becomes wet, dry it gently with a soft cloth before storing it.
Will it turn my skin green?
The 925 sterling silver base is less likely to leave green marks than jewellery made with a brass or copper base. However, individual skin chemistry varies, and no material can be guaranteed reaction-free for everyone. Stop wearing the piece if irritation occurs.
What stones are used?
Most of our clear and coloured stones are cubic zirconia, selected for their brightness, clarity and consistent colour. Certain designs also include cultured freshwater pearls or clear quartz when specifically stated. Check the Details section on each product page for the exact materials.
What does the 6-month warranty cover?
Our six-month warranty covers structural manufacturing faults, such as a faulty clasp or an insecure setting caused by workmanship. It does not cover normal plating wear, scratches, accidental damage, loss, or damage caused by water, chemicals or improper care. Contact hello@serramorphe.com with your order number and photographs if you need assistance.
Will the piece look exactly as shown?
We use studio and worn photographs to show each piece as accurately as possible. Colour can appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings. Natural materials such as cultured pearls may also have small variations. Exact measurements are provided in the Details section.
